The state support program for commercial companies engaged in the production of economically complex products in the Republic of Armenia provides for the provision of support to those companies that meet certain requirements:

1. Within 365 days before filing an application, administrative proceedings to collect outstanding tax obligations must not be initiated.
2. The company must not participate in bankruptcy proceedings as a debtor, and no bankruptcy petition must be filed.
3. The investment program must include capital investments of at least 1 billion Armenian drams, aimed at creating or expanding the production of economically complex products.

The share of sales of economically complex products in the annual turnover of the beneficiary must be at least 30%, and at least 30% of the beneficiary's annual sales turnover must be formed through sales in foreign markets.

The program is provided in three stages:

The first stage is start-up support: 10% of capital investments after the start of production.

Second stage: 5% of capital investments when selling economically complex goods in the amount of 10% of capital investments during the quarter.

Third stage: 20% of capital investments, maximum annual amount - up to 35% of the real value of assets.

The decision on support is made by the Minister of Economy, and within 30 days after the decision comes into force, a list of economically complex goods for the current and subsequent years is approved. The program is aimed at disseminating advanced technologies, stimulating the production and export of products with high added value to support the progressive growth of the country's GDP.
