A legal workshop on current regulations in the field of geographical indications took place
On June 9, 2021, a legal workshop on current regulations in the field of geographical indications was organized and held in Yerevan by the RA Ministry of Economy and EU expert group. The event was organized within the framework of realization of the process of smooth and efficient termination of use of “Cognac” geographical indication.
The workshop was attended by the RA Deputy Minister of Economy Arman Khojoyan, employees of structural subdivisions and subordinate entities of the RA Ministry of Economy, representatives of the Vine and Wine Foundation of Armenia, businessmen of the sphere, as well as European experts involved in the program.
The RA Deputy Minister of Economy Arman Khojoyan made an opening speech. Discussions and exchanges of views took place during the event in order to develop and form common approaches to the issues related to the process.
