During its session on April 15, 2021, the RA Government approved the draft law submitted by the RA Ministry of Economy on “Making Amendments to the RA Law on RA Holidays and Memorial Days”, which proposes reduction of non-working days for the New Year and removal of January 2-5 and January 7 from the list of non-working days.

“This draft is aimed at building a strong economy in Armenia. The regulations we presently have, in fact, diminish the economic life of Armenia by 10 days. Every citizen who is interested in and feels responsible for the future of today’s Armenia cannot afford such a luxury. And we must change our attitude towards our approaches to building Armenia”, Vahan Kerobyan said.

During the RA Government’s session, the following drafts submitted by the RA Ministry of Economy were also approved:
