High accuracy scales were provided to the National Body for Standards and Metrology

High accuracy scales were provided to the “National Body for Standards and Metrology” CJSC of the RA Ministry of Economy. The main purpose of scales with the ability to weigh items up to 1.2kg is to provide the required measurement accuracy in different measuring ranges as part of volume and adjacent variables measurement laboratory.

With the help of high accuracy scales it is also possible to determine the mass of items made of precious metals. The “National Body for Standards and Metrology” will soon announce an open house day for citizens, during which all applicants will have the opportunity to check (on voluntary basis) the real weight of their precious metal items free of charge.

The scales purchased by the Republic of Armenia are of the Polish “Radvag” brand. The RA Government also provided the “National Body for Standards and Metrology” CJSC with mass comparators, balance weights of E1-M2 class, and sets of balance weights (1mg - 50kg) and other ancillary equipment.
