Socio-economic situation of the republic of Armenia In January-December 2022
In January-December 2022, Armenia recorded positive economic growth compared to the same period in the previous year. The economic activity indicator increased by 14.2% during this period, and in December, it rose by 12.9% compared to the same month in the previous year. Growth was recorded in all sectors of the economy, due to an increase in both internal and external demand. This positive growth resulted in a favorable movement in the exchange rate, particularly in Armenia's exports, which grew by 77.7% compared to the same period in 2021.
