SME Department of the Ministry of Economy is looking for an expert
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Implement the SME Development Strategy and Action Plan.
Lead the thinking on improving business enabling environments for small and medium enterprises (SME) in the country.
Coordinate projects with partners, donor organizations, and other parties.
Represent the function on various platforms, events and discussions.
Establish liaison with other ministries and departments.
Manage the department on day-to-day basis, monitor and analyze department’s productivity and efficiency.
Actively communicate with relevant departments, ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions, according to tasks and deadlines.
Continually assess and report the performance of the department, project implementation process, etc.
Be in charge of communication and feedback to businesses and other parties.
Conduct in-depth research analysis on various topics.
QUALIFICATIONS
Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics;
Strategic thinker with proven ability to manage people, processes, and projects to achieve developmental objectives in line with operational guidelines;
Sufficient work experience (5+years)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, computer literacy
Excellent knowledge of Armenian, Russian, and English languages.
Independent, pro-active and able to work well under pressure & within teams;
Able to create and manage effective relationships with senior government, and private sector representatives and clients;
Ability to communicate ideas clearly and confidently, articulate issues and recommend solutions.
