On August 13, RA Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan met with Kazakhstan’s Minister of Agriculture, Aidarbek Saparov, in Almaty on the sidelines of the Eurasian Economic Union’s Council on Agro-Industrial Policy meeting.
The two ministers discussed opportunities to expand cooperation in agriculture, increase bilateral trade, implement joint investment projects, and exchange expertise and modern agricultural technologies.
They also discussed cooperation in the efficient use of water resources, irrigation systems, livestock farming, and agricultural processing.
Minister Papoyan highlighted the potential for increasing exports of Armenian agricultural and food products to Kazakhstan, particularly wine, fruit and vegetable products, and fishery products.
