During his visit to Lori, Minister Gevorg Papoyan also toured Itex LLC. He was accompanied by Deputy Minister Narek Teryan and Lori Region Governor Aram Ghazaryan.
Itex, an Armenian-Italian company founded in 2022 by the Italian firm SARTIS, currently employs 1,115 people.
The company is equipped with modern technologies and specializes in producing custom-made clothing for renowned brands. Garments bearing the "Made in Armenia" label are exported to Italy and subsequently distributed worldwide. Itex fulfills orders for prestigious companies such as Moncler, Dainese, and MACKAGE.
Currently, the company operates 18 production lines, with plans to expand production capacity to 24 lines in the near future.
During the visit, the company's management was briefed on the state policies implemented in the textile sector and the programs aimed at fostering industry development.
