The RA Deputy Minister of Economy Avag Avanesyan was on a two-day working visit to the Republic of Artsakh. The Head of the Foreign Relations Department of the Ministry of Economy Armen Ayvazyan was a member of the delegation.
During the meeting with the Republic of Artsakh Minister of Economy Armen Tovmasyan, the issues related to the current and new infrastructure projects implemented in Artsakh were discussed, as well as the possibilities of providing assistance to SMEs and organizations of the Republic of Artsakh that suffered losses and damages during the military operations.
During the meeting the parties referred to the opportunities and channels of assistance provided to the agricultural sector of Artsakh.
At the end of the meeting, the parties discussed the possibility of participating in joint training and retraining events (including online) aimed at capacity building of both the public and private sector specialists of the Republic of Artsakh.
The meeting was attended by the Republic of Artsakh Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Hayk Khanumyan, as well as the Republic of Artsakh First Deputy Minister of Economy and Agriculture N. Musayelyan, the Deputy Ministers V. Avetisyan and T. Arstamyan, the Head of the Economic Development Department of the Ministry B. Petrosyan.
The members of the delegation of the RA Ministry of Economy also had meetings with the heads of the companies operating in the sectors of agricultural production processing and light industry of Artsakh. The issues arising from the military operations were discussed, and directions of their solution were outlined.
