On March 3, 2021, the RA Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan received the World Bank delegation led by the Regional Director for the South Caucasus Sebastian Molineus.

The Minister of Economy briefly presented the current developments of the Armenian economy and priorities adopted by the Government, within the framework of which the new economic policy developed by the RA Ministry of Economy is now being finalized.

The parties discussed the progress of projects implemented in cooperation with the World Bank in public investments management, public-private partnership (PPP), joint works within infrastructure programs, and in the fields of agriculture and tourism.

Sebastian Molineus suggested outlining the areas, legal regulations, directions or programs where the World Bank can provide assistance to Armenia.

At the end of the meeting, both sides agreed to continue discussions on water infrastructure, as well as other areas for implementation of new joint cooperation programs.
