Deputy Minister of Economy: In the coming years, the efforts of Armenia will be aimed at developing and strengthening the cooperation of the EAEU with third countries

In the modern era of globalization, the degree of interconnectedness of states in all sectores of life is growing, and in this context, regional unions are  beginning to play an increasingly important role. Deputy Minister of  Economy of Armenia Varos Simonyan announced this on November 29 at  the 14th international conference "Eurasian Economic Integration".

The Armenian official noted.  At the same time, he stated that the  EAEU has favorable conditions for the development of small and  medium-sized businesses in the participating countries.

Union, in addition, unites labor markets of member countries. , Simonyan  noted.  At the same time, the Deputy Minister of Economy of Armenia  noted that the EAEU is seen as an integration project, comfortable  for doing business, one of the international economic centers.  According to him, Armenia is a supporter of an active dialogue and  interaction with various integration structures and cooperation  projects. "The lack of common borders is not an obstacle to being in  a single system of regulation in various fields," he said.

According to Simonyan, all the member countries of the organization  should continue efforts on institutional development of the EAEU and  Armenia, for its part, will contribute to preserving the positive  effect of integration in order to solve problems that will give a  positive impetus to the economic development of our countries.

According to him, the digital agenda should be one of the key issues  on the EAEU agenda. The Deputy Minister of Economy of Armenia also  emphasized that in the coming years, the republic's efforts will be  aimed at developing and strengthening the EAEU's cooperation with  third countries - Iran, Singapore, etc.

Simonyan said, adding that  the EAEU has great potential from the point of view of the  integration project and it already gave its first fruits, but  consistent work at the national and supranational levels should be  continued to achieve the ultimate goals.
