The 7th Anticontrafact International Forum kicked off in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia, with the participation of public and private sector representatives of the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). The two-day forum is a central platform for holding discussions within the EAEU on issues relating to the illegal circulation of industrial production, protection of markets, etc. The forum is attended by the public sector representatives of the EAEU member states, private NGOs, various experts, scientists and others. The forum aims at forming a united position and proposals of the participants with a view to counter the illegal circulation of industrial production, improve the customs regulations, protect the intellectual property rights, and so on. The forum is organized by the Government of Armenia in the person of the ministry of economy with the support of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), the Russian ministry of industry and trade and Anticontrafact International Association. Armenia’s deputy prime minister Mher Grigoryan, minister of economy Tigran Khachatryan, a number of EEC officials will deliver welcoming remarks at the forum.
