Minister Gevorg Papoyan met with the British Ambassador to Armenia, John Gallagher
On May 3, Minister Gevorg Papoyan met with the British Ambassador to Armenia, John Gallagher. Deputy Minister Narek Hovakimyan also attended the meeting.
Discussions revolved around opportunities to enhance trade turnover between the two countries and deepen collaboration in sectors such as the food industry, mining, agriculture, and tourism.
Both parties exchanged ideas on expanding cooperation in promoting trade and investment, diversifying services and production, as well as organizing international and specialized exhibitions and business conferences.
Cooperation with the UK Foundation for Good Governance in implementing corporate governance reforms was also highlighted during the discussions.
Minister Papoyan introduced the guests to the "Crossroads of the World" project, which has the potential to become a significant component of both regional and broader economic cooperation.
