Tariff privilege for customs duty free importation of sugar from third countries
On April 22, 2021, during the session of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission, a decision was made, according to which from May 15 to September 30 of the current year a tariff privilege will be provided for customs duty free importation of sugar from third countries. Up to 22.4 thousand tons of sugar imported to the Republic of Armenia was exempted of importation customs duty.
The decision is made to prevent a possible rise in prices in the sugar market.
