Suren Karayan met the Parliamentarians of Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation

On December 22, RA Minister of Economic Development and Investments Suren Karayan received the members of FA State Duma Committee on CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration and Compatriot Relations. Suren Karayan welcomed the guests and expressed gratitude for the meeting and visit to Armenia.

Suren Karayan expressed the hope that corresponding dynamic steps will be taken for further harmonization of national legislation in favor of strengthening Eurasian Economic Integration cooperation.

According to Minister Karayan there is potential to give larger tempo to EEU integration processes in legislative and executive levels.

Chairman of the Committee on CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration and Compatriot Relations Leonid Kalashnikov in his welcoming speech said that RA Ministry of Economic development and investments plays a key role in integration processes.

The sides have proposed to expand cooperation between Armenia and Russia in the spheres of technological parks, free economic zones and progressive development territories.

At the end of the meeting, Minister Suren Karayan once again presented the guests the Armenian phone Armphone, providing details of its production.

Leonid Kalashnikov noted with satisfaction that he had heard about Armphone and he is happy that Armenia record such a development in IT sector.
